Here is what the calculators and community tools collect, and how to request removal.
Calculator values
Calculators run in your browser. Inputs are not submitted to the community database. Sharing a scenario creates a URL containing its numbers; anyone with the link can read them. There are no advertising or analytics scripts in this site’s code.
Story submissions
The site stores your selected perspective and platform, chosen public name, private email, title, story text, submission time, publication status and consent represented by your completed submission. Only approved stories appear publicly. Your email is visible to authorized moderators, not public readers. Do not include addresses, order numbers or other people’s identifying details. Submission is permission to publish the submitted words with the public details you chose; it is not permission to publish your email.
Moderation, reports and votes
Moderators can approve, reject or hide stories and review reports. Helpful and not-helpful votes are reader reactions, not verified findings. Reports store the story reference, reason and time. Please avoid sensitive details in report text. Moderation notifications go to the site’s stories mailbox; sign-in links go only to its hello mailbox. Private data is stored outside the public website directory.
Essential cookies and spam protection
A session cookie secures forms and moderator access. Voting sets a random reader cookie for up to 90 days so a browser can change its existing vote rather than add another. The database stores a keyed hash of that identifier. Rate limits use a keyed hash derived from an IP address and time window, not raw IP addresses in the community database. These measures, a hidden spam field, timing checks, validation and moderation reduce abuse; they do not guarantee every bot or duplicate vote is blocked.
Retention
Pending, rejected and hidden submissions are removed after 90 days, during subsequent community requests. Approved stories remain until removed. Reports remain for moderation unless associated unpublished content is removed. Expired sign-in tokens and rate-limit records are removed during requests. Hosting and email systems may keep operational logs and backups according to their own retention settings. The host may log IP addresses and requested URLs independently of this application.
Requests and control
For removal, corrections or a question about your submission, email privacy@deliverytipsexplained.com with the story title or link. We may ask you to confirm ownership using the original submission email. Never send account passwords or identity documents. Contacting us by email also shares your address and message with our mail provider.
External sites
Links to delivery platforms, sources and photographers lead to other websites with their own policies. Stock photographs illustrate topics; they do not depict the contributors or certify their experiences.
