Everything the offer shows: platform pay plus any tip.

Include the drive to the store, and the drive back if you won’t have another order on the way.

Shopping, waiting, driving and handoff, start to finish.

Your numbers

Your own all-in number: fuel plus wear. For reference, the IRS business standard mileage rate is 76 cents from July 1, 2026. This site’s examples use 50 cents.

0 ignores taxes. Self-employment tax alone is about 15.3% of net earnings, before income tax. Ask a tax professional for your number.

How the check works.

Vehicle costs are your total miles times your cost per mile. What’s left is the total offer minus those costs. Dividing by the hours the job takes gives what the offer pays for your time. If you add a tax set-aside, it comes out of what’s left, or out of the whole offer if you choose the budgeting shortcut.

The answer has three states. Pass means the offer loses money. Think twice means it covers its costs but pays less than your hourly target. Worth taking means it reaches your target. The minimum total offer shown is the amount that would get you to “worth taking.”

What it leaves out.

Incentives, tolls, batching, tips that might change after delivery, and the value of your time elsewhere. Fold anything that matters into the total offer or your cost per mile. This is a decision aid, not tax or financial advice. See the full method, or use the full calculator to adjust fuel, MPG or electric costs.
