STANDARDS / NOTHING HIDDEN
How we work,
and what changed.
What we promise, how we fix mistakes, and a dated log of changes to the site.
What we promise
- Independence. We’re not affiliated with any delivery platform, and the site has no ads, affiliate links or tracking scripts.
- Labeled examples. Calculator scenarios are illustrative and editable, and the formulas are public on the sources and method page. We don’t invent trips, customers or testimonials.
- Labeled perspective. Journal essays are written from a working driver’s experience and say so. Guides and calculators aim to explain, with their sources linked.
- Sources from the source. We link official platform, government and regulator pages and say when they were reviewed. When we can’t confirm something, we say so or leave it out.
- Reviewed stories. Every reader story is reviewed before it’s published. Stories are individual experiences, not verified facts or typical earnings.
How we handle corrections
Email hello@deliverytipsexplained.com with the page and what looks wrong. We check the claim against its source. If we got something wrong, we fix the page, and when the correction changes what a page means, we list it below with the date, instead of changing it quietly.

What changed, and when
- Calculator: an optional tax set-aside, an electric-vehicle energy mode, and a verdict (worth taking, think twice, pass) with the minimum offer that would reach your target. The method is documented on the sources and method page.
- New: Should I accept this delivery offer?, a 30-second quick check for drivers.
- New: Terms of use and this page. Publish dates added to articles. The privacy notice now covers the quick check’s optional on-device memory.
- Sharing: a unique share image for every page, pass-it-on buttons on articles, and shorter page titles for search results.
- New guides: Does my driver get my tip?, Changing a tip after delivery, Why hasn’t anyone picked up my delivery order?, How much should you tip? The math, by situation and Holiday delivery tipping.
- New journal essays: No tip, no trip, “I already pay for Walmart+.” and Living far out isn’t a fault.
- Homepage: a featured-stories slider. Links added from the FAQ, the tip guide, the field guide and the journal.
- The site launched with the calculators, field guide, journal, FAQ, glossary and sources.
