The fine print,
in plain words.
What this site is, what it isn’t, and what you can count on.
What this site is
Delivery Tips Explained is an independent educational site about how delivery work and delivery tips fit together. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Walmart, Spark Driver, DoorDash, Instacart, Uber, Amazon or any other delivery platform. Platform and product names belong to their owners and are used only to describe the services.
Information, not advice
Everything here is general information and commentary. It isn’t tax, legal, financial or employment advice, and it doesn’t promise any particular earnings, order acceptance or delivery speed. The calculators and guides use examples and the assumptions you enter. Your own costs, taxes and circumstances will differ. For decisions that matter, ask a qualified professional.
Accuracy and changes
We link to official sources and date our reviews, but platform policies, fees, laws and tax rates change. Where an official page and this site disagree, the official page wins. If you spot something wrong, tell us at hello@deliverytipsexplained.com. The standards page explains how corrections work.
Community stories
Stories are personal accounts submitted by readers. They aren’t verified, they aren’t statements by this site, and they aren’t typical of anyone’s earnings or experience. By submitting one you agree to the permissions described on the story form and in the privacy notice. We review every submission, and we may decline, hide or remove one, or edit it to protect privacy, at our discretion or on request.
Using the site
You’re welcome to read, link to and share pages, including calculator links. Please don’t submit unlawful, threatening, harassing or promotional content, include other people’s personal information, or try to disrupt the site or its forms.
Our content
The text, calculators and design are © 2026 Delivery Tips Explained. You may link to pages and quote short passages with credit and a link. Please ask before republishing anything larger. Stock photographs belong to their photographers and are credited on the photo credits page.
Other websites
Links lead to sites we don’t control, including platform help pages, government sites and photographers. We aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for decisions you make based on the site, or for losses that arise from using it. Where the law doesn’t allow these limits, they apply only as far as it permits.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest change. Questions? Write to hello@deliverytipsexplained.com.
